Last night chime_ gave me 2 stacks of diamonds becuase we were planning a build in spawn involving pitching diamonds into. TS_Smelliot stole one.

I know I am not being charged against it but, when the hell did I take a stone pickax from anyone?

I read the post that said stealing and stuff would be permitted cause the server is being reset at 1.3 and so I just wanted some tools to dink around... I'm sorry... I didn't know it was for a build. It's just hard cause there's no one on and all these chests and I don't know what is and what isn't abandoned... I could put it back if you let me back on. It was a simple misunderstanding... I mean if I was just a greasy bastard-excuse my language- I would have taken the whole stack. I stole one. I can put it back. The fact that I touched 1 shows that I was not malicious in my theft. There were a couple of people on the server and they said that no one is coming on the server until 1.3 and I just wanted to explore. I didn't think it was an item that anyone would miss. If you truly want to ban me over 1 item out of 128 that I can return and make things right on my own, then so be it. The guy was given the item. If you want to ban me over a misunderstanding, then go ahead. I stole from him. If you want me to make things right, then I can do so. Chances are, he already received another spawned diamond block from someone to replace it. Make your own decision. I saw an empty server with supplies sitting around when I had nothing and lots of other people had a lot, so I wanted to be able to explore with a couple decent tools. If that is a bannable offense then fine. But I am more than that if you give me the chance to prove it.

Didn't realize that we were lowering ourselves to petty insults here. I find your nitpicking at a minuscule portion of my post a very ignorant of you. You fail to respond to the rest of my post. What are the roots that clutch, what branches grow Out of this stony rubbish? My intent was not to be sneaky. My intent was to take only what I needed and return to that person what was taken once I had the means to do so. If I wanted to be sneaky, I wouldn't have taken diamonds. It's not like I'm going for the pink panther here, people! I wanted a diamond pickaxe and a diamond sword so I didn't get slaughtered by skeletons in this unforgiving world. Were the diamonds spawned? I bet they were. It's not like someone worked their butt off to get these things. They can be replaced. Why sentence me to death over 9 diamonds that I misunderstood as fair game? If you can see the intent in my heart, you would know that I mean no harm and I simply wanted to explore the world with some decent equipment. Ban me. I don't care. It's not worth it to me to argue like this over 9 diamonds. Clearly it is to you.

Well then let them be a compilation of you, chime nobodie2, and me, and I will put them back and never touch a chest that is not mine again. I swear on my good name and my record of never receiving a ban prior to now. Please, let me prove to you that this is not me. I wanted to get a team together and participate in the build with  Kex.. I wanted to be part of the server. Part of the community. Let me get another chance and I won't mess up. If I do, then I will accept the ban and you guys will never hear from me again.

A very thought out and some what clever reply , But it doesn't help , when a person has 450+ posts and is ranked as Veteran. This shows the person has been quite some time in this community and as a result his opinion is valued . Also the registration date is a clear indicator
