Skin requests until: 10 May 2012

Remember to be descriptive of what you want--be nitty-gritty and picky, too. This is a skin I'm making for YOU and I won't be happy unless you're happy with it. I check my email frequently, so your questions, suggestions, etc. will most likely be answered shortly.

I will always post a preview of the skin so you can comment and critique it. I want to make your skin as perfect as I'm able.

Perhaps a normal person (not Steve though) in a suit with the closest possible to a top hat?

Black suit, perhaps if possible, some very subtle lines going down (if resolution allows that, but they can't be too colourful. White shirt, black tie. Top hat is completely black, no white striped going round (not a magicians hat) make the hat as large as possible without messing up the face. That's a lot of specifics. I'd really thank you for doing that, have to give you some ingame items at some point.

Thanks for the specifics because I started on your skin and...well, I got SOME things right. XD I'm just doing a little touch up here and there. Should be done by 4:30 (on the West Coast ya'll). Here's a preview:

I'd tried to give it a kinda silky pinstripe suit effect. Anything you'd like changed?

That's pretty damn amazing. Good job. It's 0:22 in the UK right now. Zzz... Oh and if it's somehow magically possible could the face be a bit more serious? That's truly difficult with the low amount of pixels available, also, could the shirt be a brighter shade of white?

LOL I stay up pretty late myself. I'm always more energetic pass 1900 for some reason and can't get to sleep until 0300. Annoys the crap out of me.

*nods* Yes, will do! I usually never do "pure white" for clothing and such because it's unrealistic. And by serious...do you want him to frown or have eyebrows? I tried the face where the mouth is on the chin but it looked too childish and if I shorten the hat, it'll look like a fedora (more so). What do you think?

I suck at creating and finding skins. I only use the default character, but I'd like to spruce it up a little with a new shirt or pants. :) I like the color green, but I don't really have any image in mind. I'd just like some alternate default character schemes. Jackie, what's your in game name? I haven't met you yet me thinkz. I might wanna tip you some diamonds I found last night ;)

I want Steve with any different color scheme you can give him. Try to make the colors of his pants and shirt go together though. big_smile I know how red and green are complimentary colors, but I don't want too look like a Christmas tree tongue

Also, maybe you could make a video tutorial for youtube on making skins? Gabriel/Hobo have their own channel that is contracted. If you could somehow shoot them a video for them to place on their channel that would be great!

Oh, dear lord, make a video? I need MONEY to make crap like that. You need, like, equipment and a voice that doesn't sound like a prepubescent twelve year old boy when you're an adult woman to make it into anything decent. In all honesty, making skins isn't hard anyway. You just need a little artistic know-how and a skin editing program. I use both MCSkinEdit and MCSkin3D. Give them a try.

And for your skin, I think a nice combination of green/blue/yellow stripes with some jeans and red shoes could do nicely. But do you really only want a slightly edited version of Steve? I could change the hair, skin, give him (or her) a mustache, beard, whatever.

I give you, dear Hawkdude12, not one, not two, not four or five or six, but THREE, count 'em, THREE different versions of the skin. Of course, you can pick one out and leave the rest for whoever else wants them.

I call this guy Stinson Hawkworth. Lets see if someone can guess why.
