Hi guys, i have been watching some videos lately and have been inspired to make a server wide pvp competition. I would appreciate suggestions and ideas for it, and am fine if it does not work out. If you would like to participate, please leave a short comment saying so. Please tell me if this si a good idea or not. I will make a list of people who are interested

YES! "Survival Games" specific servers are huge and professional, but it wouldn't be the same. I think this is a great idea because it would be fun to kill Schem.

And, everyone else.

I think a way to do this and still stay within the realms of "Vanilla" MC would be to not use plugins. We would have to use a warp or tp, but once the arena is made and everyone competing is present, we could just lay down the rules thee and trust people not to break them. We could also download some discreet SG plugin that wouldn't ruin the vanilla experience with seizure inducing color-covered chat screens.

Either way, this is a great idea. I approve.

I'm building a lot of this stuff in Neverland.

I just have to get around to finishing the pain water maze and wiring.

You're arenas are not really pvp and they arent as big as we had wanted. Thanks for posting though smile

Been a while (Finals, etc), but have you seen the Acrosomething arena? I just know kaya was the one that did a lot of the work. You could ask schem about it.
One of the portals leads to it. It has a bunch of different things.
Only went there once for about a minute.

---I doubt I'll even be playing on SDM's Super Duper Vanilla Server again anytime soon... I just got sucked into the different mods provided by Technic SSP. (Millenaire, Mo' Creatures, and EE's full experience)

Waiting for the Tekkit reset, could you give us a heads up before you do it? I think Hawk wants to bring some stuff over from the base we have setup currently. I'm fairly certain I'm ready to go...

Back on topic: I'm wondering what happened to that server wide PVP thing in a city we had going on... SDM loads up a temporary map, we play a super funz PVP war for about a week, then we return to normal. I do like the idea of a spin-off of the Hunger Games.

Main Concern: Lack of organization and admin participation. I know if SDM loaded up a temporary map we'd have Shan and SDM on often. Maybe we shuold just wait for a low-key week. Everyone seems to be taking finals... Good luck peeps!

Why did you mention me for killing anyway? >_< (Acrophobic Arena was sort of abandoned when we couldn't get anyone to play with us... everyone we asked was just doing something else at the time)
