I love Foobar. It uses so much less of the computer's resources compared to Windows Media Player. Infact I think it sounds better some how hmm

bit of an old thread, but if it helps, VLC player pretty much plays all video and saves from getting the k-lite mega codec pack

Yeah, I use VLC as well, haven't found a file type it can't run. I'd have to say, it deserves to be on the list as well.

Nice list.

Filezilla is one of the best FTP programs I have used.

I used Sygate for a while, but I still gotta put ZoneAlarm free up there.

I love FileZilla, but I'm running CuteFTP now, I think they're both even, but I prefer some of the shell features in CuteFTP.

Where is the best source to get a Foobar download?  It sounds like it's worth a try (Windows Media Player tends to eat up some significant space).

Thanks for recommending Opera 9.5, I just switched from Firefox. Way faster, sleeker, and cleaner; definitely the way to go.
