this proposal is to determine whether age restriction would be useful for this server, current members under age 18 would be grandfathered. This would only apply to new applicants.

People really think that age and maturity coincide? Could never and would never vote yes to this, and I'm the guy who complains the most about the maturity of some people.

Ugh as said above its not how old you are, it's how mature you act, granted age has an effect on this however I don't think it's fair to limit players because the year they were born in. you cn tll they r not rite for teh srvr becuase theyre app Luks like dis

I've thought about this before, but the fact is that we have had plenty of mature young players and immature old players alike. I think that age is a strong indicator of maturity level, but I don't feel that it is strong enough to completely exempt a sizable player base from participation.

No. even now, most people on the server are 18 and under, and they are very mature. Plus, maturity doesnt go with age.

I propose a 5 and over age limit. Anyone under 5 will not be allowed on the server

I would say 8 and above would be the limit, even if someone is nine, you can somewhat trust them.

like gotkaya said, I really don't think age has a whole lot to do with maturity. I know 30 year olds that i am for a fact more mature than mentally. Besides most of the people that play minecraft are teenagers, thats like blocking your main audience, you know? Don't have nearly as much time to play when you're in college and or working a job.
