So I'm working on finally building my storehouse again. Only this time I'm gonna make it pretty big. I'm gathering values according to our servers supply and demand. I just want your feedback.
So, what this means to you: If you want something from me, let me know what you'd like to trade for it. Not everything is considered currency to me, but I'll be lenient some of the time. But for example, I wont be taking cobble as payment for anything, unless you wanna trade cobble for dirt or something lol.
I'm still working on prices for other enchanted things like bows, swords and armor.
Anyway, give me some feedback.

Well, balls Kaya. I'll check an take inventory, and I'll let you know if I need anything. Huge stock though dude. Props to you.
Are you making a new building for this? Like a warehouse?
And I'm guessing you live in NN?

Hmmm.... 2 diamonds = diamond sword. So I can get a free stick from you!
And 1 diamond = 1 jukebox.
Although 16 gunpowder = 2 diamonds looks nice.
Also, nice idea.

Luke, that's not really my stock, just prices. Although I do have most of that ready to trade. I'm not in NN anymore, Im out by the acrophobic arena. I'll be making a nice storehouse in the next few days.
Kura, you can have all the free sticks you want lol.
On another note I might come up with discounts or price hikes
. Trolling too much? You get charged more.
Lol

Hmm, I think I'll go farm some obsidian...
But, tbh, the Unb 3 Eff 4 tools going for 28,800 is a lot and probably the easiest thing to get.
What do all these numbers mean anyway?

Easy to get isn't the only factor to weigh when selling an items, you also need to weigh the demand for the item. It's easy to get, but it's also the most used/most desired pick in the game. The numbers are values... But I already said that. You use them to compare items. For example, from the numbers you'll notice that 1 diamond is equal to 8 gunpowder.

I really like this, kaya, but I'm upset with the gunpowder price
. Surely you'd agree that it's ridiculously expensive? Schematix sells his for three diamonds a stack. If you make the price more reasonable, you'll have all my resources.

And the same in reverse. One competent mob farm can probably drain you of diamonds.
I can buy over 100 just with all the gunpowder I have stockpiled.
Don't think gunpowder has that much demand either. Maybe halve the price?

No need to get upset
That's why i posted this up here.... for feedback? These aren't my set prices, as you'd figure out if your fully read the first post. Anyway, I adjusted the price for gunpowder to 4 dia per stack, and the prices for a lot of other items too. You guys are comparing everything to diamond (which is perfect), but I seem to have devalued diamond since I have no trouble getting it.
Also I simplified the list by getting rid of the sell prices, just know that not all items I'll take as payment. And I got rid of some Items I just don't see any purpose in trading or worrying about.

Cobblestone: x64 - 15
Log: x16 - 20
Wool: x16 - 10
Dirt: x64 - 10
Sand: x64 - 10
Gravel: x64 - 5
these are not well priced, at least for logs, sand and wool.
For example, for one diamond i can have:
20 stacks of wool, or 80 stacks of sand?

I tend to use diamond as the standard because it is rare, has a relatively even distribution, non-renewable, high value, and is useful.
Nothing else has really popped out as a good "standard" item.
Other thoughts:
I take it you aren't buying maps? That seems somewhat silly.
Above is somewhat of an explanation on why maps cost less than compasses.
Sapling price seems high.
Cookies and coco I would expect a slightly higher value, because of their absurd rarity atm (Even if they are impractical)
Interesting slime ball price. Maybe a tad lower? Slimes are unfortunately very situational. Some people get almost no encounters (floating island), others get insane (caving in slime chunks).
Obsidian... not sure what to think about this. Either non-renewable lava or epicly slow with portals. In small numbers, molding might be easier. Takes time to mine, although much easier with Eff V.
No sandstone?
I assume tools are fully repaired. Price would scale down with damage.
Finally, crafting downwards. Map and compass show this. When you turn a valuable item into a relatively useless item. For example, sand and sandstone. Sand can be turned into sandstone but not visa versa. Sand can also be turned into glass. Therefore I would expect sandstone to be worth less than 4 sand, because of the decrease in uses. For convenience, however, might work to keep them the same. It allows people to "uncraft" certain things. Like uncraft a diamond sword back to diamonds, etc. Why would you? Accidental crafting? Overcrafting? Have a lot of iron helmets from zombie farming but want rails?

Thanks Azy and Kura
Changed:
8 stacks wool = diamond
4 stacks sand = diamond (must have miss typed sand at some point)
4 stacks logs = diamond
9 stacks dirt = diamond
9 stacks gravel = diamond
40 slimes = diamond
1 cookie = diamond (novelty item)
1 stack obsidian = diamond
comments:
stacks of saplings for a diamond doesn't seem too high a price to me? maybe a little i guess.
Edit: I just changed the numbers to diamond = 1 so they're easier to compare, and I adjusted a few more prices. It's getting late so i probably screwed something up though lol. Thanks ya'll for the input, I'll revisit these tomorrow.

Cookies are massively over priced. I have 20 cocoa beans, so I could make 160 cookies and get 160 diamonds from you? Eh?
Btw, I really do have 20 cocoa beans.

Edit: Changed under priced to over priced, lol.

You might have 20, but they're not really farmable which makes it more of a novelty item than anything else. So,naturally they are going to be priced high. Would 4 cookies per diamond make you feel better? It's not like anyone cares to buy them or trade them, or really even make them anyway.

Remenicent of my degenerate crafting idea.
Thoughts: Coco beans have a one time use on sheep, for collecting brown wool. Dye one sheep, breed it until you get another brown offspring, then infinite brown wool.
Crafting them into cookies, however, means that you get a useless item from something of higher value.
So I would say have coco higher price than the other dyes (Because all the others are either renewable or from plentiful lapis), but lower cookie price.
