A large community project. The closest thing to one for s while now was the enderman farm, but that was only a handful of people. I'm not sure what we could do, but I think something community wide would be awesome
anyone have any ideas?

Let's build...
A Cake City!

I was actually working on an idea right before I was griefed and now that is fixed I can get back to it. Anyway, I have wanted for a while to build something in the sky.
It was originally going to be a town, but it could be anything else. Sooooo... ideas would be cool.
Edit: I already have a rail to a location for it, it branches off from the rail to Kaya's place.

Hmmmm... Something in the sky sounds pretty cool. Like you said, maybe a town? With a plot for everyone on the server lol

I was planning to have the plots all very big and spaced far apart, with few bridges in between, so you could use pearls instead

Devourer09 already has a small Sky City, so we should think up something else. Maybe a western town?

I was watching this video saying how we could snaze up some of the older cities with dynamic builds. I Think i like the idea of a themed city :-). I was thinking english tudor, or medievil castle or we could go for a western feal if somone can achieve that. I think it should be built around a biome.
Often the mistake i made is that i would think of a town and then realise i would have a lot of landscaping to. If somone finds somewhere like a cool valley or some crazy biome snow biome then that would be good. It might give us a better idea of how to plan the city.

Themed cities seem nice. Perhaps around a time period or place. Maybe ancient rome in a desert, using the new sandstone blocks? Or Medieval castle (AKA improve on mosscow)
Also, have a screenshot of my home. Basics of floating areas connected by bridges.

Bright coloured, western post apocalyptic American floating mechanical city? Sounds doable.

Hmm, sandstone for pathways with stone bricks, wooden buildings, perhaps wool American banners, a curious redstone robot that looks like George washington with chaingun hands? Oh and the bottom needs to look mechanical! And gold rails to go around! Because there are no fences and some parts are only very slightly linked together. Maybe as a future project, maybe. I dislike these, 'floating buildings' with water dripping down, the only way in is the nether. Or a giant mechanical bird drags you up there. If you do this, get the theme right, make it look good. Count the bio hock references in there!

"Would you kindly..."
Never rated Bioshock as a game, but that one realisation blew my mind. My hat is tipped to the game dev's for that one.

I already have a rail to an empty forest, so that's there as soon as ideas come
