Only read the first paragraph of this PDF thingey-bobber.

For further explanation... ^
I had heard somewhere that future transportation will be underground vacuum railways. The trains themselves will be levitated by electromagnets. Propulsion will either be the electromagnets or sumthin' pushing the train along. The energy propelling the train could also be re-used as it slows down.
This creates a very efficient means of transportation in terms of energy, because no energy is lost on friction and the energy made to get the train going in the first place can be re-used! Yay!
Also, have you guys heard about Israel planning to have all their cars electric by 2015? I haven't looked up if this is true or not, but I bet someone will if they want to know badly. My engineering teacher told me about it after I intrigued him with the idea of car batteries that could be switched out at a station. He looked it up and found out that they're doing the same in Israel.
Why? Electric cars take a long time to charge and can't go very far. This can be solved by switching out your car battery once it depletes to charge at a station. Once fully charged someone else can use your battery. (Car batteries are big and heavy for electric cars, like... really big and heavy)
Also, hydrogen powered cars. Anyone know anything about them? Supposedly from estimates in 2006, the cost of hydrogen would be 2$ as compared to gasoline's 3$. Pretty sure that's still not true. (2$ for the same amount of energy that 3$ of gas provides)
Edit:Oh ya and Harlson's car has looked the coolest so far.
Edit:Edit:Forgot to add Edit
Edit:Edit:Edit:Dude, the wheels on that old car you posted, Kura, look sideways... Like an optical illusion or something. I bet you're waiting for someone to notice it.
(I'd lol hard if you hadn't noticed it) Just stare at the front 2 wheels for a little while...
Edit:Edit:Edit:Edit:http://www.moillusions.com/2008/04/crazy-car-optical-illusion.html It's an illusion! lol

Also, @Schem with Hydrogen Cars
Hydrogen is one of the most abundent things on the planet, running up to nitrogen, CO2, and Oxygen.
It only costs more than 10 cents a gallon bacuase
1: collecting it is difficult. (like helium, it just floats away)
2: Raw Hydrogen cannot be used as fuel. It would blow a hole in your car. They have to "prepare" it or something.

I don't believe in all of Darwin's principles, but this video illustrates "thinning the herd" and "survival of those who arent idiots".

I have nothing against people, but I'm glad the roads are safer now.

I'm sorry I didn't use the implemented YouTube viewer, I don't think it works with mobile devices.
