Amazing video card, but only if you're planning on using it to it's potential.  There are other way cheaper options out there that are amazing too.  Buy it for bragging rights or leave it on the shelf.

I got a Gt 430 . Now its not a high - end video card but it does good on games and gets you decent graphics . It supports all latest things ,shaders , directx , 3d and cuda . The thing about this video card it is very efficient on electricity and the max it will take is 55W. It costs around 80 Euros (on my end ) and if you need an average card that will do anything and even save some money on electricity this is it .

Another plus with getting a low-power video card is that you can purchase a passive, entirely fan-less version of it. Most high-end video cards can become quite loud.

I just bought this one a few days ago.  Newegg had a 10% off promo code and $30 rebate on it.  Well worth the price.
