As said, just because there are rumors of a new map, it doesn't mean that it's alright to go and grief everything in sight.

I would suggest a system of tempbans...
Broken leaf blocks, for example. Not many people easily carry around leaf blocks to replace it. Small infractions should get a bit less of a punishment. Currently small infractions are grouped with massive griefers.

Some of this might be some idiocy on early server destruction in anticipation for the reset. Maybe you forgot 1.3 isn't here, or that some people might want the map file after the reset?

Kura, spawn was ablaze. Most buildings that could be lit on fire, were on fire. That giant treehouse nearly burned down completely.

Hi, sourflowerpower here. I recently started playing Minecraft and going this server again (I believe I was one of the first regulars on the server, joining around the time kura did and I stopped playing when school started taking up more time) so I'm a bit unfamiliar with the people and activities going on currently. This is also my first time on the forums.

After getting some background info from kura, the sanding on the tree on top of the cobblestone roof -- the roof I created for my mini-tree farm -- was done by me, as a marker for where my house is (around x:500, z:100). As for the removal of leaf blocks, I definitely have removed quite a few leaf blocks near what I have learned is spawn town, as my house, according to kura, is somewhat in spawn town. In no way did I remove the blocks with the intention of destroying or ruining the fun for others, though.

If people need me to move my house or fix some things I'm willing to do so. I apologize if my actions caused any confusion or harm, and wish the community best of luck with bringing the griefers to justice.
