as for IGN, i did see him breaking blocks at his base at 23k, but it was only minimal, and after i rolled it back i put him in a little "jail" for a while. he had nothing to do with anything in spawn, he was trapped by me for about a half an hour lol.

This is not grief. The base at Belaro (By Chime, IGN, Tut, I, and more) was co-owned by everyone there. I admit to breaking a few blocks there, but I repeat: it was NOT grief. We owned it!

If this is considered grief, then the discipline system here is absolutely MORONIC! While I agree that whoever started the fire at spawn should be punished accordingly, I in no way think that anyone should have been punished for the acts of so called "griefing" at Belaro!

If this is "griefing", and I am wrong, someone please correct me. Something tells me, however, that breaking your own stuff it not griefing. I don't get arrested for cutting my grass in real life, WHY do I get BANNED for AIDING in the destruction on my OWN DAMN BASE?!

Thank you for your consideration. Live long and prosper.

in their defense they HAVE been pretty busy doing all the digging and half slabbing and tnting that area. i know when im doing stuff like that i rarely look at chat. and a lot of the times i would see them asking each other to get on skype, so the lack of chatting could be because of those reasons. im not defending them, but im also not condemning them, just merely stating facts of the matter.

EDIT: lol at the contradiction.....

Thank you, Shan. You are right about Skype: As the location of Belaro prior to this incident was secret, we tended to be on Skype as it was confidential and easier to talk through.

To anyone who thinks I, or anyone there organized this, you're wrong. I have only been to spawn to go to the End. Also, I was the one that reported the fire. Had I not asked, "Why is spawn burning?", The incident might not have been seen for days!

Thank you for your time. Live long and prosper.

Spartan, when I put ign in "jail" it was me and him dicking around. If you actually read my post you will see I was defending ign by giving him an alibi while spawn was being griefed.

Are you for real?

You quote one of the most logical characters in popular fiction yet you yourself aren't applying his wisdom.

We banned Chime_ because he decimated all of Spawn City.

We temp-banned everyone associated with Chime_, because we did not know what to expect. All of you seem to be relatively tight-knit (I mean, you skype together and build thousands of blocks away), so after Chime_ was banned, all of you could have logged on and caused very serious damage to the entire server world. Not only that, but the few players that were associated with Chime_ and had logged on after the event had some suspicious "statements" or were overly quiet. Furthermore, Morrath recalled one of Chime_'s groups requesting to be an OP during a "server-wide catastrophy".

Why was the destruction of your own home supporting evidence for a temporary ban? Well, if you don't care about the place that you have spent weeks laboring on and one of your associates didn't care about the place others have labored on, then we very logically extrapolated that some of you might have been planning to leave the server or, due to the reset controversy, might try to "speed" up the reset by griefing the world.

This isn't the usual discipline system, but the course of action each server administrator took during the "event" seemed to be the best course of action and proved to be successful. If my friend and I are at a bank together and he robs the bank, then I am probably going to be temporarily held for investigation - right?

Well, fuck it. clearly most of you are completely and totally against us (whether you were there or not), and I'm not in the mood to fight what is essentially an up-mountain battle with all of you rediculous people. Maybe I'll actually check back after 1.3 to see if I have another chance here, but after today I doubt it. Too bad. I thought I actually found a place I liked. Well, whatever.

Nobody really expected me to be serious for an entire post, did they?

No one that I saw was "completely and totally against (you)" and I hate to say it but with this post any chance you had is probably gone now. Honestly, patience is a virtue and I'd think you'd have learned that by now from playing Minecraft at the least. When it comes down to it, it's up to the OPs and I don't even think they're on reading this at the moment let alone attempting to continue dealing with this situation. Oftentimes, the best way to look at a problem is to let it cool for a bit so you can take another look from a calmer perspective. I feel like that's what the OPs are doing right now and that's what you failed to do with this post. Congratulations.

No, No, No, NO!

One of the first things on this topic was a list of fucking "Gangsters"! EVERYONE WAS AGAINST US!

I feel that my above post should provide total closure of this issue.

?

Ok, ok. I definitely admit to asking for Creative mode, but it was a joke. I didn't actually think there was any "Server wide catastrophe", nor did I take part in it if there was.

I hadn't realized the volume of the attack, and like shan and IGN, was just "dicking around".

Anyway, I think that it is time to end this foolishness.

Healthy, you are more than welcome to continue playing on this server. You are also, of course, free to leave if you'd like.

The server administration made the correct decision and any posts that you, Chime_, or iggy have added to this topic have only served to errode respect.

Tutenkamen sent me a very nice message and I countered by pardoning those that had been temporarily banned.

Please feel free to close this topic, Shandrew.
