I have heard that dark souls is all kinds of tough. Has anyone tried Alan Wake?

Dark Souls and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Can't play either at the moment, though. A trip over a cord seems to have left either my Xbox, my TV or my video cable damaged. I'm really hoping it's just the video cable, I was SO close to beating Reckoning.

-Interesting 10$ game. I only bought it because my cousin asked me to play with her. I said no and she sent me money. xD
Bomberman Ultra

Mw3
-I've lost hope in the CoD series. Personally, I think WaW and Mw2 were the best of them all. Mw3 is substantially better than BlackOps though, but nothing like Mw2 and WaW. (Not getting BO 2)
Borderlands
-My favorite FPS! Patiently waiting for Borderlands 2. (Prepurchased, ftw!) Excellent game with graphics that were pretty nice for a 2008 game. Its a FPS/RPG hybrid type game. You go around, do missions, shoot stuff, play online with friends, shoot more stuff, laugh at the amusing dialogue of the game, and then win.

Minecraft (Duhrrhurrr)
-Hah, best game ever.
Revenge of the Titans
-I got this on sale when it was 3$ on Steam. Its the best tower defense games I've played and I've played a lot of tower defenses. Not much more to say about it other than that.
Space Pirates and Zombies
-You get a fleet of spaceships, choose which ships to outfit, fly around, do crazy stuff, and win. Fun game. Top down space shooter.

Mud and Blood 2 - Probably the best flash game ever made. Best time waster ever. You either hate the game or love the game, there's never a middle-man.


Edit: Anyone play Penumbra: Overture or Penumbra: Black Plague? I got so scared on the second one I just quit playing. Sooooo scary...

This thread again? Ah well, may as well update it. I got like 3 times further in Dark Souls in like 1/4 the time in a new file on Dark Souls. I finished Reckoning and started playing the original Torchlight a bit.

Don't Spoil it please! I just finished killing that invisible chick and found out the ancherowoman was an AI.

I read in my Gameinformer magazine today and one of the producers of DE:HR was quoted "we really should have put more effort into the boss fights, they are really a big part of the game. I am sorry that we didn't put enough time into them".
The first thing that came to my head was "True dat".


Also, seeing as it is a prequel, I understand why they couldn't make the ending [i]Too[i] spectacular. Might mess up the story, you know

Just got a ps plus subscription so now I'm playing
Warhammer 40K Space Marine. I don't care if it's linear its still great.
Outlander Metroid style 2D platformer where you change colour depending on what colour the enemy is.
Renegade Ops: Hasn't finished downloading...
Darksiders: Needs installing.
And an Oddworld game that tbh is awful.
Also playing mirrors edge again!

What systems is the first DE comparable with? I like the X360 so I'll have to get used to PC controls...

I propose that we start an old school Mobile Forces clan.

We can all pick a time to play together.

This game will run on everyone's computers, is relatively small (I have a copy that I can "distribute"), and is a ton of fun. The AI isn't too bad either.
