Just wondering, have they made a crafting reciped for "Chiseled Stone Bricks" in a snapshot yet? I haven't really been keeping track

Not that I know
Also, larger biomes look amazing. Actually large biomes now. Looks like they are trying to fix mountains too, always nice.

are they finally going to have snowy topped mountains? i have always thought that would be sweat! plus cocoa beans finally! although it would be nice if they added another use like chocolate cake or somthing

Very, very, very glad they added a "huge biomes" world. Minecraft seems just weird when you're in the taiga, then it's like SHABBAM! Desert.

Still has the crazy transitions. It just makes biome transitions less often. You still get Taiga into desert. Just you don't get Jungle into mountains into desert into Taiga into another desert into ocean.
Hope they make the biome transitions more logical. Just a bit of restrictions on what biomes should be near each other.
Also, oceans are now even more absurdly massive.

Noticed some confusion over large biomes.
Here, have some screenshots.

I think that might make SMP a little boring.

1. It is a map generation option. Not required. Just a new thing being tested.
2. Huh, change of pace once info is provided. I guess I should have posted this earlier. I blame AP tests.

That looks great!
I think beaches should be a little bit bigger and more "designated".
Sub-biomes that signify the crossing over of one biome to the next. Beaches could also be replaced with sheer cliffs
Random blocks that are 1 away from the surface could be placed so when you jump down you might land on a rock
.
Less transitions will be nearly as good as better transitions. I still shouldn't be able to see a desert, jungle, ocean, and forest from atop my tower.
Not happy that oceans are even more gigantic, but that might discourage someone from (Savya) getting in a boat and traveling until said person hits a continent.
(Jeez, I just had a thought and now I can't remember what it was... expect edit...)

Meh they already have biome transitions "sub-biomes" but they are not very good, shear lciffs would be cool and perhaps mountains would be an amazing addition long with working snow, shouldn't be to hard to code. It is nice that they are tinkering with all the glitches because minecraft has a tradition of adding a tonnage of new features which become glitchtastic.
