Actually there was a weird thing happening by the flax and wheat farms: randomin seeds were just popping out of the ground. Im stumped as to what that is :S.

I did put a watch of flowing time on a pedestal, so everything is running at 7% faster.
It might be the Harversting band I hid somewhere random. Just don't build too close to spawn. I was doing experiments there, to see what works.
Alternately, make sure you have enough water around your plants.

It strikes me as funny that this tekkit server idea has 181 posts, yet 6447 views... for every reply that someone posts on this forum, 35 people view it. So it seems more then 20 people or slightly interested.

Yet they haven't posted interest. Also, I tend to view this thread a lot to keep updated on it.

General tips, which I plan to add to a tutorial in spawn.
Noticed Schem having troubles with Matmos. When you open the launcher, select tekkit, then underneath your username is a manage mods button. Shut off Matmos. That is a huge pain mod.

R and U are your best friends. R tells you the recepie of whatever you are hovering over (in your inventory), and U tells you what you can do with it.

In NEI, click on the button on top, click on redpower, then right click on micro blocks. Those take up 20 unnecessary pages of NEI interface.

Several mods make copies of different blocks. For example, multiple tin, copper, and silver. Also, different rubber. I would like them to all be consolidated, but that doesn't seem too likely.
The trees with three leaf blocks on top is the best rubber tree. Use a tree tap (Use NEI to search for it) to take sap off the sides. The massive trees are either crafted straight into sticks or can be turned into rubber.

I changed it to medium (I think...)

You should give it a try, just the mining for new ores is fun, and I am sure if you gave it a chance and took the time to read to wikis and watch the tuts, I am sure you would hate it less.

Something people don't seem to get is that you don't need to know how everything works.
You can be extremely sucessful by just using Buildcraft and Industrialcraft.
You can even play it like normal minecraft with added conveniences, such as improved redstone.

Edit: I plan on designing a tutorial using computercraft's monitors for spawn. Unfortunately, I somehow borked computercraft, so will work on that later.
