"Apevia 500W ATX Power Supply $40.00 @ Newegg"

If it breaks after a month, how exactly is it a bargain?

The question is "if". Newegg offers one year warranty so if it breaks they will give you another one or a different model.

There is no question, Apevia makes the worst Power Supplies on earth. Newegg shouldn't even offer a warranty on that crap.
