Every time i go to the nether i cringe just a little on the inside. The main spawn nether area is lovely, dont get me wrong. But everything else, it just doesn't look too nice imo. I think that redoing the nether from the branches of spawn is a good idea. Musik offered to build his rail depot system, and i think that would look nice. Anyone else agree? or disagree? I still have to get approval from SDM, but i figured i would post a poll just to see if the community is even interested in a more simple nether system.

I think the best way to do it would to go up to the nether ceiling and just start from there, otherwise it would leave the nether system unusable until the new one is finished. Still waiting on more negative votes though, just to be sure smile

I voted no, because, well, the rails could stand a little bit more organizing, but my house is off a branch in the nether, and i have to break through the wall every time and then replace the blocks... Soo, being that, idk how i'd get back to the nether system. (Jsav, don't remember the rest of the name, invited me to stay near his house, and he want's it secret, so I can't exactly link up to the nether system without permission.)

But I'd be willing to help Musik with a station or two. I've built a couple stations before, nothing like his, but I do have a reliable cart dispenser design. Plus I want to learn more redstone anyways big_smile

i like the idea as long as it still goes everywhere. if it doesn't go to everywhere then people might not be able to get to their houses. for example: i live in an underground base in quarryville, and i rarely see anyone else there (it might just be the times i get on, but i consistently use that nether portal to get to and from quarryville) also you would need to build tracks to places like the enderman farm and places like that. but my vote is yes if it still goes everywhere. (sorry for rambling) smile

After I came back when the Nether got reset, I was so horrendously lost... it's idiotic. Yes please.

since it sounds like this is gonna happen, we should make a list of every portal that will need a route from the nether station. my standard station can do 16 routes, but i can expand it if need be.

yes, i could do that. it would be easy also to just add another lever to the selector, every lever doubles the number of routes available. but it would also be twice as long, so either way works.
