Does that mean i can take stuff with me and live in spawn city for a while, move back, and my base and stuff elsewhere will still be there? Or do you have to be a permanent resident?

The goal is to improve spawn. You get diamonds each day you spend living/working there to build a house and spruce the place up. Not many people are permanent residents, but there still have been significant improvements to spawn.

Im not going to cry or preach, just going to state facts. I made a base legitally, SDM robbed me of it and handed it to another player. All because i didnt use it as often as other might use their bases, I'm a relatively established player (Since 1.0) and I was wondering what you guys think. technically SDM is correct because he is force feeding this new law that when he described it, you can take bases if ur a resident of spawn city and its in spawn city.... my base is in spawn so why can't i take it, the joker taking my base already has a base.... why then u ask? SDM has no reason. now ask your selves how u would feel if you were me. One day the admin Literally saying its their base now that he, "gave it to them".

Key points:
xGerawrdox has a home within the SCI.
He has been working tirelessly to improve the area.
Upon discovery, the entire area that Inc claims was essentially a wasteland.
The base, besides the entrance, was an absolute mess.
Tons of grief; which Inc states was caused by Millenium.
This, of course, happened eons ago.
There has been no chest activity or building activity in the lot, no signs claiming any land.
xGerawrdox proposed fixing the land.
This is a clear application of the SCI.
Less important point:
Upon discovery of xGerawrdox's award, Inc continually boasted about how his new home is "10x better" and how the old place was a mess and contained many incoherent and irrelevant things. It was only after I claimed that the base is actually very nice that Inc decided to fight the SCI claim.
This is a done deal - there is no democracy within the SC Zone.

I can kinda see how people would think "omg dictatorship" but if you actually look at everything in the spawn area, it really is a mess, and it really does need this kind of initiative

The SCI has already vastly improved the spawn zone.
We saw the future of the server and we didn't like it - so, we helped create a method for improving desolate areas.
It has shown great success.

Was this on purpose?
If you don't get this, then you need to look up "Increments of time".

/me Stashes away tnt , armour , weapons and emergency supplies incase SCI Zone -_- comes too near.
Overall i thinks its not a bad initiative and SDM did have a big fat point but before claiming places be sure too have a solid and fat point as claiming it in the first place

I fail to see your point if this guy who's robbing me has a base why does he need mine, My base is hidden, thus your SCI doesn't apply, no one would have seen it and if they did it probably would have been a cool experience to find a hidden base. The only motive i can see behind you is that you either just want to make me mad, which good job mission accomplished, or you want this guy to think he is better then everyone else, mission accomplished. And the reason i kept it looking destroyed is because A. i actually liked it that way (whoa surprise a finished base doesn't need rebuilding) and B. i had been making 2 other bases at the time so i lacked the time to "access" the chests, or remove and replace every single block to mark my exist.
I have been more then active its clear I'm not going to abandon my stuff.....

I think we should just make designated lots in spawn like in NK.

I like that idea sdm.

I think that without them, people seem to have a difficult time figuring out where to build.
It worked really well for NK.
