this is a vanilla server, so i was wondering if we could use glitches such as sand generators, obsidian generators, and other glitches in vanilla.

Note: there are some exploits that let you dupe anything. I sdm was against omnidupers back when pistons came about. Maybe a more specific list?
Transmuters, sand dupers, redstobe to obsidian converters I know are ok. Still very iffy about allowing every bug

notch tweeted he thought obs. generators were ok and that he wouldn't change the glitch (a long time ago I can't quote him and yes it was before jeb tookover so it was notch's decision.)

mostly just a small sand generator as i clear out my base mostly using controlled TNT blasts, and the mob grinder supplies plenty of gunpowder, while it's easily a 5 minute walk to a desert to mine sand.

If it's in the nilla client / server or in our block logging software and it doesn't harm the server, then go for it.

What about the enderpearl glitch?

1. Get your character to half a heart

2. Throw enderpearl

3. Log out before endpearl hits a block

4. While you log out you die and you stuff goes flying everywhere

5. Log back in you still haven't died but your items are still on the ground as well as in your inventory

6. INFINITE ITEMS

Btdubs I don't know if this glitch still works I think using kinda ruins the game...

But it is totally allowed right SDM? tongue

In my PERSONAL opinion, I don't think dupe glitches are very legit >.<

If I tried a glitch like that, I'd end up banned, so no, I am not going to use dupe glitches, just a sand generator. (after I make sure it works in SSP)
