After Dee became OP the chat filled up quickly, after the nether was reset, All of the people working on it became creative mode. I realize this is a big project, but I would really wish if you guys could communicate through skype or another program because, the chat is gonna fill up a lot more, with this project, it is very distracting to see 10 comments come up every 30 seconds about the nether.
if you cant then ok I will deal but it would be nice if you could take it somewhere else.

Would there ever be a chance, SDM, that you could install a chat plugin?
Possible features might include
1. /r for replying to PM's
2. /tell schem and it autocompletes
3. A mute button?
4. Show the /tell's you send
5. And maybe the ability to create chatrooms, but this is probably unneccessary.
I prefer to type using the in game chat.

Solid suggestion; might be worthwhile to implement a chat plugin.
Let's see what the other cube-boobs think.

The one I got for tekkit is commandbook.
It is a pretty good admin plugin thing, but 1. Bukkit and 2. Permissions.
What I would find really really useful is something with chat boxes. Like a public box, public chat rooms (eg. per city), and private conversations. The problem with /tell is its one person, and skype has the issue of everyone needs skype. Chat rooms means that conversations you don't want to follow you can just leave the room for. Unfortunately, UI is an issue.
I guess just a better /msg would be good. I once saw one with offline messages too.

autocomplete is standard in the game. just type ur /tell then one or two letters of the persons name, then hit tab

I just tested the auto-complete thing 2 days ago and...
/tell got
gave me "Player not found, derp."
Edit: Name was gotkaya

well, u have to hit tab for it to complete it, so after typing the "got" part, hit tab, and the player has to be online at the time as well

I like the idea of /ignore so you can't hear a person if you don't want to hear their chat
