So, I realize that the batcave was a recipe for disaster. At spawn, at mineshaft level, huge, it's just not a good idea. But I thought it could work. When people mine into it, they usually just seal it off and turn back, but this guy (who I'm fairly certain is Kexiang) didn't get the memo.

So, kexian's tower goes straight down to mineshaft level about 2 blocks from the wall of the batcave and starts a mineshaft. Obviously this is a problem. I was there when they first built it, and kexian dug through my wall, mined all the ore in the room, didn't patch it up, and left, right in front of me. When I RAGED at him through the chat, he was like "what?". I thought it would be ok to leave it at that, and warned him not to run mineshafts through the batcave.

I was wrong.

The first pic is the area in question where kexian entered my base. I sealed it off last time. I come back, and it's open again. The second pic is kexian's staircase up to his tower, about 5 blocks away from the entrance in the last pic. Mineshafts start from this room. The third pic shows mineshafts going from that room into my batcave. The fourth pic shows it more clearly from inside the batcave. The 5th pic shows a little bit of griefing done randomly to the batcave walls. And the 6th and 7th pic show that whoever did those things, also stole 1 1/2 doublechests of cobblestone (who does that?!).

When I confronted kexian about it, he insisted that he had an alibi, which doesn't clear him, and commented about the non-severity of what happened to me. "People come into my house looking through my chests all the time." "But they don't break your walls and steal anything." (Paraphrasing) "How is that griefing?"

I can't say with certainty that it was kexian without logblock, but he's obviously my prime suspect. He isn't aware of the severity of griefing or stealing, and has done the exact same thing before.

I am ordering a cease and desist for the culprit, and want to use this as a public service announcement for anyone mining near spawn. If you run into the batcave, just block it off and turn back. Don't steal or grief my base, because that is what I was trying to hide it from.

Hopefully in a few weeks when everyone is allowed to leave spawn, spawn will be a ghost town and this will never happen again.

that is simply false accusation. i didnt take the cobble in the chest. and he couldv just told me to patch the 2 block hole after i left. i forgot while i was exploring through this awesome base.

why was killer banned?

multiple stories? shandrew killed me and proved it wasn't me who took stuff from it. i lost 26 lvls just for the sake of proving my innocence

well jousis, im not saying you're wrong about the situation but your base is at bedrock level im assuming and its right near spawn. its the start of the world, people are strip mining like crazy and will run into your base they might not know its yours because its underground or something but if you arent gonna mine those ores by then, he did it but since you knew it was him you could have asked for it back

I'm feeling generous - I will shorten both bans to one day.

Thus, both bans end at 2 PM PDT tomorrow.
