I had this idea when reading the comments by people who were disappointed that they would be losing everything because they had to start from scratch.
I sympathize with this view, as it has been my personal opinion on constant resets for a while.

To mitigate complaints, and help out people, I had the idea of hosting a full out creative server. No reset, exists to let stashers have the chance to be able to build together (or alone, but in the same world) as friends without worry over resources.

I also been considering tacking on worldedit to help out people (and correspondingly some sort of backup, log, and basic protection to prevent abuse).
And if I felt really plugin brave, I might even make it multiworld. I had the idea that each person gets their own "world" with a fixed number of chunks. Each person is creative in their own world, and by default adventure in other people's world. Helps prevent conflict, lets people do silly adventure map stuff, etc. It would also let people get better control over their worlds, like time control and changing game mode of visitors. If possible, of course. And if my computer has the memory.

Will not be implemented for at least a week, as I am still away.

It is mostly a poll to see how interested the community is in the idea itself. Its just that it will replace options, so I tried to be comprehensive.

Current stats: 3, 2, 2, 1, 3.
Very slightly tilted towards switching to creative.

Another thought I had was 1.3
Tekkit will take forever to update, but it would also take a while for any plugin to update.

I tend to have the typical creative single player test world, which I know others have.
Inspiration was thinking it would be cool if we could share our ideas in creative too. Maybe like collaberate on design, then hop on the vanilla server and build it ground up.

Dunno. Still more time to wait.

Currently in proposal stage, as in doesn't exist yet.
If I do make the server, by all means feel free to join. I intend it for anyone from this community.

I would be for this but would like a survival world still but that is a stretch as you have only so much memory but I would donate 10$ towards a memory upgrade if others would pitch in as 50$ gets you a nice upgrade in RAM easy.

So If ppl are willing to come up with a kura upgrade fund ill pitch in.

I really miss the activity this server had but since the server had issues for a few weeks ppl lost interest and I would like to see it much more active.

This is going to stay tekkit for now.
1. Everyone having fun in 1.3
2. Tekkit also recently updated
3. Seems about 1/2-1/2, with slight preference for keeping
4. Lazy.

If I find time to figure out how to get my crazy multiworld plugin working, then I might call the poll again.
