Hi guys.

I notice that the server already has a load of Slime Farms, but I wanted to know how to find my own Slime Chunk near my home. Can anyone tell me the best way to find Slime Chunks?

Some of the slime farms have popped up by people just finding slimes and knowing that's a slime chunk. But this doesn't always work as slimes do travel. Others (I think) were given coords by op's who know the server seed and can look them up.

I could help you out though if you know the general area you'd like your slime farm to be.

chunks are 16x16 blocks starting from 0,0. if you dig out a big enough room and slimes do spawn, then find the cords of the chunk. there is a 1 in 10 chance your chunk will spawn slimes.

like all mobs you need to be 23+( i think!) blocks away for them to spawn.

I think most of us found them by chance, once you found one slime, just clear out the spot and afk above ground for a little while, it produces even more slimes if you have a mob grinder above ground

all slime farms are built by people on their own, they found it on their own. OPs wanted to build one but didnt have the time or ability. Yes we have the seed but we arent 100% sure the slime chunk finder website works for 1.3. So current slime farms are built on their own, no OP help
