Having the system is good, but that rollback went waaaay to far back.  I'll donate all my chests to the person that was griefed, just to get my work back...    that's messed up really.

wow this rollback messed everything  up. it ruined like 15 hours of my gameplay....

While it was stupid how he decided to move for one day, and told everyone to go FFA on it, this is not a chaos server. He could have been still moving all of his supplies, for example. He also said that he was moving back a day later. Hawk wasn't the only one hit, from the sounds of it, and both Hawk and Gummy have been on since 1.7, at least.

And from the sounds of it, I even lost stuff from the rollback from how far it goes. I used Kaya's rail on sunday, and that is the last time I played... Ouch.

My suspicions are either that some sort of compatability issue exists with the more recent map versions, corrupted saves, or it was a quick fix on SDM's part as he spent most of the time with the plugin.
I don't know all the details, but from the sound of it the griefer was successful in hurting everyone with such a powerful rollback.
If my arena gets reverted, I am going to be a sad dog. I am pretty sure that most people are even willing to wait an additional three days to not have three days of work reverted, because they can do other things while waiting, but redoing work requires putting in the same effort. If thsi was a quick patch, and you plan on choosing a better rollback, I would prefer you just left the server down so people don't waste their times rebuilding when the server is going to get rolledback again. Then again, I am too busy with school again, so have litttle time to check anything specifically.

Thanks. I do have the advantage of not being able to play (never thought I would say this. ), so have  nothing to lose from the server being down some more, unlike others.

Another mod I saw somewhere was chunk specific rollbacks. Would help a lot for focused hits like this.

Wow, you really need to calm down, you're the one acting like a ten year old. Firstly, how is it relevant that noche got griefed, if I supposedly invited him, the griever would have briefed somewhere else. Secondly, Im am older than fourteen, and that's not the youngest age on this server, if you want more maturity, please go to a 18+ server. Thirdly, the griever may not have even read the post that I was leaving. Fourthly, spawn got griefed too. My chests weren't the only ones destroyed, I checked every house before and after the rollback and certainly found some broken ones. I never said to break my tower on the post, and that happened. Also, why are you setting out to ruin this server for me? Maybe I should just leave, I can't deal with people who intentionally set out to ruin things for others.

you should because of you countless people lost tons of work put in

so what if items are missing find more its not that hard and yes random people u have never met before and dont know about are bound to grief an established area and so what about the post? you and gummy were spamming chat basically in 90% caps about abandoning a town i think most people know the DEFINITION of ABANDON

you basically showed every single new person how to get to certain places using the spawn nether portal and the trains

so realistically you are the griefer

90% caps? Bit of an exaggeration. I barely said abandon, more or less I said leave. And wow, -1 rep to me, clap clap. Im so bothered. Also, go tell everyone I'm a griefer, add me to McBans list, because then I swear, I will be out of your goddamn sight.
