Don't understand how this works
Let me just go ahead and carry the team... the following is from the FacePunch forum:
Here's how it goes:
We have a background and we have to build a town or civilization on it, from it's foundations as a hamlet or a bunch of huts to it's greater days, where commerce and technological advancements are rich and we have flying cars and what not.
1. One addition per post.
2. Be coherent. Do not make a modern penthouse when the rest of the houses keep a particular, different theme, say, small brick houses or wood huts.
3. Do not ruin other people's houses for the sake of doing it.
4. No memes please.
5. Do not use any tools that leave antialias. (paintbrush, etc.)
6. If possible, use isometric spriting.
7. NO .JPG PICTURES.
8. When posting, please uplaod your image as a thumbnail.
Don't bother declaring or reserving a space, chances are people will continue adding things as they come and go and disregard your message. If you want to edit a certain part of the image and would rather not have it edited by someone else, you can ask nicely and I'm pretty sure everything will be fine. But no turns or declaring. Just come, edit your part and upload it back, no one wants to wait. It seems to work well that way.
I shall start with a pretty crappy background with some stones and a small hut in the ground. You can either work on the hut by adding additional "rooms" I guess, or make your own hut or house (preferably with wood or wood and stone, to keep the theme for now) or, I don't know, make a hole in the ground if you wish. Be creative!
14 pages of forums later, they had this image:
***WARNING: Spoiler Alert!***
Regardless, it's worth checking out the forum to see how the image progressed.
