I Logged onto the server today to find most of my house missing which i think was due to a deliberate fire as all which was left was stone and a little bit of wood. it wasnt just my house which was damaged Someones house next door to me has also half there house missing. i know it could have been a lightning strike but why was mine and a neighbours house damaged when theres no way for a fire to spread from my house to his.

have you tried using a wooden pickaxe to access the logs?

Also, where are you located?

And yes i have used the wooden pickaxe it says it was destroyed by fire how do i check who started it

I think the admins would have the answer, but I'd build it how it was before, but with cobble, and check those new blocks, that might help as it will show how those blocks were destroyed.,. Unless it's impossible to tell with a flint and steel.

i can now tell it was done on purpose as the fire started in the bottom corner of my house sad

i don't think lightning strikes happen on easy. also, the fire spread way too far to have been lightning, b/c the rain would have put it out within a couple blocks.

Also.. grief confirmed.

It must have been tatermane with cosyn's ship because of the removal of wool in the area, Good find there, I'm ofcousre happy with a rollback... Others may not though.. Perhaps we should atleast have a poll, in case of buildings? Now blam that griefer. I think we should start adding them on an official ban-list or something.

I think there is a chunk-specific rollback now too. Don't really know. Also nice that players have access to the logs.
Suggetion: Change the tool to wooden hoe, so new players are less likely to find it accidentally / get annoyed by it. Wooden hoe is probably the least used tool ever that is easy to make (golden is probably slightly less used, but harder to make)
