I think I am going to make the server 100% vanilla and not allow new whitelisting until Bukkit 1.2 is released.

Um, should we be wary of having bedrock in our inventory? -_- Or have you manually removed that.

Reset is a good plan, hahahahah.... yea it is, have you seen the chunk errors? smile

Kaya and I are making a whole NPC village in his server. It's kind of hard to get those golems, but once you have 20+ villagers you're set! Lookup the villager breeder on the wikia.

Sounds like a good plan for now.

Also might be a good idea to lock the whitelist application forum from new posts and edit the instruction part until later.

Best idea I've heard in Days!
The community is strong at this moment.
And we don't really need more members
any more.
So locking the white listing is a A OK plan.
Also... resetting the server
That would be awesome to start from scratch
I've been waiting for the reset for a long time!

I am also in favor of this, but if we are not white-listing for now should we still vote till then?

1. I seriously need to figure out how to include the names of people's posts when quoting them.
2. I'm assuming you mean vote the server up on the vanilla list and not vote for reset? (Again, lol)

I think we should all see the map in 1.2 before we even consider a reset. I don't quite recall all the advantages, worries, and disadvantages of resetting. Hopefully they don't add another biome and screw us all over again in 1.3 or whatever. ^^

Method one: Rather than copy paste, click on the quote button at the bottom of the post.

Method two: Manual typing. <quote= PERSON NAME> </quote>. Replace <> with [].

It would be nice for a reset, I wasn't able to be on most of the time until recently because of connection issues, but now that this has been fixed, I would be able to go on, at the start, and feel more at home. I do think that if we are going to start a new server, that there be rules that take care of the whole abandoned towns thing. Such as making a set number of towns we can have, and requiring people to live in one, or letting the first towns within the first few days to be the official towns. Those are simply my thoughts on the matter. All in all, I love this server, so it doesn't matter in the end.

It will, however, be reset eventually. And that eventually will be sometime within the immediate future.

This will most likely occur when we transition to a new server. It would be too much effort to move over the behemoth that is the current world.

I am glad to see, however, that everyone is community oriented. I definitely would like to have the server work together more often.
