Ugh we went through this before. I don't particularly mind but there's so much uncompleted stuff on the current map! Abandon half complete projects, and start again or we carry on. I don't care. That's the unbiased view big_smile

can the nether be fixed?

if not (there's a lot of work in it), i suggest a full reset. I don't care to go back and re-do all I've done in there. :\

The server automatically reset the nether when it upgraded.

If there isn't a way to fix the nether, I'm with kaya. Too much went into building all that transportation and safe passages and without them, I can't make it back to civilization easily.

Do you still back up the maps? If so, nether. If not, then all the hard work in there is doomed anyhow...
Currently I am just wandering around, waiting for SPC and MCEdit to update... But I don't see any need (again) to bother going on if everything is going to be reset again soon.

I wasn't suggesting reset. I was just noting that the "reset" crowd would have grown significantly stronger had you been unable to fix the nether.
