I played mass effect 2, adnI liked it a lot but i don't have the money for it. It looks cool though.

I've never been taken by any of the mass effect games, giving this one a miss.

Really? Such classic games.
KOTOR?

Apparently the ending was terrible...

I have been reluctant to pick up ME3 due to the ending shenanigans and the DLC situation.
Skyrim has been still been good enough to keep me occupied for now (42 hours and I feel like I'm just getting started!)

Mass Effect 3 has such a horrible ending ><

I saw somewhere that they released DLC that is free until the 14th to "patch up" the horrendous ending.
Which is bad in itself. The game has also had so much hate for DLC, with the storyline-essential playable character seemingly removed from the game jsut to be readded as DLC (from my limited knowledge).
Just informing about potential information. Never played the game, just see news and complaints about it time to time.
(Someone actually sued the company over the ending for false advertising. Somewhere on the webpage it proclaims choose your own storyline, or something, and he said that there was no choice at the end (or something along those lines))

you are, 16 days played and nowhere from finished.

It's quite disappointing that such a massive game had such a terrible ending. All your main actions from the 3rd, if not all the games, should have an effect on the ending.
Rest of the game is pretty damn awesome though

I ain't doin anything in the main story till there's a better ending. Personally, I've been running multiplayer near constantly. Pretty fun and I really don't want it to end unless there's a fix to the horrible crap we were given.

Lol, yeah, you're nowhere near ending. I think I've put in at least 10h per character and I've restarted lots. I think I'm running about 10 characters at the moment? Something like that.

Skyrim wasn't even long enough for me. I felt like it was just getting started when I killed alduin. After that exploring seemed really pointless. Do not let me kill the ender dragon.

I think exploring is the point of the game. The world is filled with side missions, characters, and all around epic places. But I guess this sorta thing isn't for everyone.
It's like the first Deus Ex. Everyone calls it the best game in the world, but I just don't like it. Not sure why.

No I loved skyrim, I did the exploring, just after the main story it felt like there was no point.
