2,0 is just and update for when they run out of numbers. It will add major elements to the game, but so will others, I'm excited for them.

seeing as the server is empty, i am assuming most of you upgraded without a backup (as did i).

This is how i got back on(someone uploaded the vanilla 1.2.3 .jar):

We'll get them eventually... it's only been live for a day.  Not to mention the new chat system won't work till it's upgraded either, but...

Vastly improved chat
Bold, colored, italic, strike-through and underlined text - Screenshot - Use §l, §m, §n, §o and §r to get bold, strikethrough, underlined or italic text, respectively; The last one resets previous "settings"
Clickable links - Screenshot (thanks, ClankStar)
Scroll up/down for history and recent sent messages
Commands work without pressing t first, just like "/time set 0"
Made a mistake? "t" -> up -> backspace -> new number!
Username complete using tab - type "r" and then hit tab and it will change to redstonehelper
Copying and pasting text, everything

Can I just say... some of these chat features I'm not looking forward to.  Chat history... great, links... great, other stuff... great, but I get tired quickly of the constant use of caps...  some ppl think they need to ye'll to be heard.  I think if ppl start bolding everything and turning it bright orange I really will set out to find a mute mod.  lol

Glitchy mobs are being fixed in 1.3, which is not coming out for a while.

Chat modifications requires client mods, because you have to be able to input the special characters.

You can get the new blocks. 4 sandstone in a square, or craft a sandtone slab on top of another one.

I might start looking for a clientside chat simplifier mod, to specifically remove all of the colors, bold, etc.

We already ignore everything typed in all caps already.
Time to add overtly colorful or fancified to the list.
Now that I think about it, the only useful thing this could possibly do is MOTD. Otherwise there is nothing to gain from underline/bold/strike/colors.

I love all the other features though.

If your using Windows, try going into your .minecraft\bin folder, right clicking on "minecraft" (Jar file) and clicking on properties. Go to the "previous versions" tab, and see if a previous version was automatically stored. If so, you can right click/copy it to your desktop, and swap the two files as needed. lol
