As my last act in creative, I made a public blaze farm like Kura's old one. To get to it, go down the rail to the jungle (its the one on the right when you come thru spawn) until you come to the sign that points you towards the farm. Hopefully this farm helps some people

you made the chute too short, its making the crusher bug.
Its working though.
One other problem is that the mobs glitching visually out, makes the crusher button, inaccesible.

I made the chute exactly like Etho did, so I don't know why it is doing that and in my testing I had no issues. Perhaps you're seeing a visual glitch? Those happen all the time on SMP. As to the button, try filling in the corners of the chute to prevent as many blaze as possible from escaping visually.

Edit: Spelled as with two s's

It worked fine for me, it did look different though. Btw you can just 1 hit kill them with your fist.

Yeah i made the farm a mirror image of Kura's, because of the way the fortress was situated. The way I made it, all the more complicated redstone was on the left, where I could use part of the fortress to hold it. Had I made it exactly like Kura's, I would have had to build a giant room on the side to hold all the redstone. Hopefully the mirror imageness doesnt freak anyone out lol

So, is there anything else that needs rebuilding? I'm still in Creative, and I'd love to help before finally switching to Survival.

BTW, i did extensive additional testing on the blaze farm and got to level 50 in 45 mins. One word of advice: make yourself a little one high waal behind you so the glitched blazes dont push you out of range.

Two more things:

1. I will need to do a bit more testing to make sure I don't accidentally die when I travel.
2. Logblock means I cant replace bedrock in the nether roof. I want to shift the roof hole slightly for aesthetic purposes.

I'm done with creative mode any time unless anybody knows of anything else that needs to be worked on.

You should be able to place bedrock via /lb toolblock off.

Cool, thanks. Need to do some screwing around with that yet, to explore the possibilities.

I apologize for any inconvinience.

I am about 4/5 done with the tunnel. Been derping about on the elevator up to my rail a bit too much. I think now that the elevator is done, I don't have to worry about flying that much. If all else fails, I can simply fill a chest with relevant building materials so I can finish in survival.
