Today, someone (logblock refuses to show anything put into or taken out of the chest) stole 2 very valuable diamond swords from my chest in the end. I would like them returned or compensated for.

The 2 diamond swords were enchanted with:
The first one:
Sharpness V
Knockback II
Fire Aspect II

The second sword had:
Sharpness V
Looting III
Fire Aspect II
And I don't remember whether or not it had knockback.

Obviously I'm very angry. They didn't take any of the other enchanted diamond tools from my chest (or even any of the double chest of enchanted stuff right next to it).

I'd like either the culprit caught (since logblock decided to not work) or the items returned in some way or another.

If the culprit is reading this, if you return the swords you stole from me, I'll try to make sure you're not banned from the server.

Can you give us more information? When did you put the items in the chest? When did you find out you were stolen from? Does logblock at least show that someone placed the chest where it is?

I can only imagine one stealing in this server when logblock isn't working, or else it would be suicidal. Was logblock not working recently?

hum, this seems strange, did you double check? the logs don't bug like this. does the log show you placed the chest? dit you check every block around it?

Sorry Kura, didn't see the thread.

Logblock shows the chest being created, but nobody's chest in the end has any take out or put in logs.
I can verify that the Diamond swords were either stolen today (Thursday) or yesterday.

As for the preference of showing before and after pics, I obviously don't have a screenie of the chest with the swords in it, but I personally showed killer the swords (he didn't do it.)

I can vouch for jousis if it helps any i did see both the swords yesterday when he enchanted them. I don't know who did it and i don't plan on pointing fingers but his chest was obviously labeled. Yea it was in a public area but show some decency guys, this is supposed to be a worry free server. lets try to keep it that way.

No problem. Not your fault, it got shoved off the first page from a lack of greifing spree. big_smile

I wonder what the log reset timings are. Is it periodic cleansings or removal after it reaches a certain age?
That might be the issue. I have noticed similar. Makes it easier for people to grief abandoned or infrequently visited creations, or subtle locations.

someone should check the logs behavior in the END, it seems its not working as intended.

If there is a way to see who went into the end somehow? It would cut down the possible suspects.

All these new players, about 1/6 are griefers. There's no safe server that's vanilla. Also, check the other chests.

That's why i don't live in any towns/cities or keep my items in chests that's open to all players incase there are griefers, i stay well away from everything.

Saw someone running around the End yesterday while I was there. Had diamond sword in hand. I can't quite remember who but I hope this helps!

Hide your chests. Check some youtube vids/wiki posts on how to do that.
