So I've been wanting to make a contest for a little while, so here it is. So first I'm gonna start with how its going to be structured.

There will be two rounds in each of those rounds I will select two winners (or one if barely anyone enters...). After this the four winners will compete in a championship round and I will select a winner, who takes all the prizes. Got that? Also I want this to be fair so there will be NO redstone challenges

You may NOT work together on your entries, one winner goes with the prizes, whether he shares them or not is up to him.

Here are the wonderful prizes you can earn!

Diamond Picks: Silk Touch and Fortune. (with efficiency or unbreakable if possible)
Diamond Shovel and Axe with some kind of high enchant.
Diamond Sword with looting and a damage bonus.
Full set of Diamond armour. Helmet will have aqua affinity and boots will have feather fall, the rest will be some form of protection
Diamond Hoe (for no reason whatsoever)
7 Gold blocks
5 Diamond blocks
The feeling of accomplishment and success!
And one extra thing that you may decide (not overly difficult please)
All enchants will be high level enchants, so you won't just get fortune I

Please note that I will almost definitely have all these items when the contests are over.

Now, lets get on with that first challenge!

Task: Build me the best looking house you can in the time available.

Time: 13th April 2012 - 17th April 2012

Blocks allowed:
Dirt
4xWooden Doors
Decoration blocks if necessary. (Mycelium is a decor block, do not overuse it)
1xDouble-Chest, furnace, crafting table, bed
Torches

More info: The primary focus of this task is to go back to basics and build the best looking dirt house you can make, the focus is for it to be aesthetically pleasing, that means I want you build an amazing dirt mansion of sorts. The house must be inhabitable and of course safe from mobs. When I say you may use decoration blocks that means you may add in small features like windows, not a whole floor made out of wool (over-use of such will result in deduction of points)

Please let me know where you have built your entries on the forums or in game (prefer the forums because that way I will see your entry). Any entries submitted after the 17th will not be valid.

Basics? To be totally honest, I've never build a plain dirt house... not even in my early days. I started out with wood and cobble. So like dirt walls and dirt roofs? Do ppl build houses like this? I guess I can join in although it just being dirt, I'd probably just tnt it afterwords lol.

Kaya, the thought is to give it something that makes it structurally unique, not just a square chunk of land, make it look like a proper house, or a tower or a castle, and yeah, TNT is in mind. And anyone who's a complete noob at this game will make a house like this on their first night and there's quite a few on this server already...

Server already is if you look around haggis, and yeah you build it on the server so I can see it. You can destroy it or keep it afterwards. I'll have some TNT on hand.
